WHAT IS BIOSOUND THERAPY?

The Biosound therapy system provokes the body's natural relaxation response through sensory stimulation in combination with biofeedback, therapeutic sound, vibrational massage, and guided imagery.

Biosound therapy includes resting on an adjustable, pressure-relieving platform that is strategically integrated with sound frequencies, healing vibrations, and visual stimulation.

At River City Counseling, our Biosound sessions are conducted in a private room with optional heated pillows, comfort blankets, black-out masks, and aromatherapy. Biosound therapy can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies.

ELEMENTS OF BIOSOUND HEALING THERAPY:

Biofeedback

Brain-based training and games that teach simple techniques to improve breathing and heart rhythm patterns for better balance and controlled relaxation

Therapeutic Music

Composed of sine wave binaural beats arranged with harmonic frequencies to engage the body's relaxation system

Vibrational Massage

Deep resonant vibrations uniquely choreographed in harmony with music and sound to relieve tension and pain

Guided Imagery

Mindful meditations and positive affirmations for a variety of topics induce a theta brainwave meditative state

Payment Policies:

Full appointment fees are charged at the time that a Biosound Session is booked.

Appointments can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before an appointment without any additional fee. This can be done online through the Biousound Session booking page or by calling the office. Please give us as much notice as possible so that your appointment time can be offered for others to schedule.

Appointments that are canceled up to 24 hours before an appointment will be issued a full refund to the original payment source.

Appointments rescheduled or canceled within 24 hours of an appointment will be charged a fee of $50. The amount of the payment already made that is above $50 will be refunded to the original payment source. (For example, if you paid $90 for a session and then cancel that session with less than 24 hours notice, a $50 fee will be applied and you will be refunded the remaining $40)

Appointments that are completely missed without any notice ("no show") will be charged the entire appointment fee that was already paid. No amount of the payment will be refunded.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment is considered a missed appointment. After 15 minutes you may not be able to complete your session and no amount of the payment will be refunded.
