Lacy obtained her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in 2023 and is a candidate for clinical licensure in Tennessee as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider.
It is true that the greatest wounds humans face come through relationships. Some of these relational wounds are so severe, we feel that we have to betray or abandon ourselves in order to survive. It is also true that our greatest potential to heal comes through relationships. Lacy seeks to come alongside individuals who are ready to step out of survival mode to empower them in their healing journey to uncover the path forward toward healing of relational wounds and reconciliation within their most fundamental relationship—their relationship with self.
Lacy's primary goal as a therapist is to be a safe space for whatever her clients need; whether learning coping skills for anxiety, processing trauma, untangling identity, exploring faith, or something else entirely, she seeks to provide a safe landing ground to do the hard work that is too big or scary to do alone or unsafe to do with others. Her hope is that everyone who walks through her door leaves feeling seen, heard, and known.
Lacy works from a trauma-informed, person-centered, LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. She believes in the intrinsic wisdom of our brains and bodies—deep down we know what we need to recover.
