Liz has over 20 years of experience working in diverse roles in mental health, addictions, and human service programs helping people address a wide range of needs.
 

Liz received Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2003 and moved to the Chattanooga area in 2004. She completed her Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2010. Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) in the State of Tennessee and she is nationally certified as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC).


Liz also received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2023 from Tennessee Tech University. She is a nationally Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

In her counseling practice, Holly primarily uses person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and solutions-focused therapies. She recognizes the unique needs of each person and tailors her counseling techniques to meet their specific circumstances. Holly's expertise in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, and personality disorders equips her to guide her clients toward healing, growth, and improved well-being with empathy and care.

Hayden’s work with survivors of extensive trauma at a mental health treatment facility led her to adopt a multifaceted, eclectic approach. Drawing on evidence-based interventions - including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), expressive arts therapy, play therapy, and sex-informed/sex-positive therapy - Hayden tailors treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs.
